These releases are new, due to the weight of the product the bottom of the box opens up when they are hung on the wall, to avoid them falling out we have had to reinforce the boxes with either a sticker or sticky tape, in some cases both as nothing sticks well to the glossy cardboard.
This is not a warranty issue or a sign of a used release aid!

I freakin love this release aid! As a recent recurve convert, ive struggled to get any back tension release near my face without giving myself a black eye in the process. Theres something about this one that makes me feel super safe. Easy to adjust, comfortable, and feels the same in the hand as my SX3 and resistance. Highly recommend.
